Description: Advanced Decision Vectors, LLC (ADV) is seeking a Network Support Technician with at least seven (7) years of technical experience supporting an enterprise computing environment. The ideal candidate will support the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, IT Operations and Applications Support.



  • Demonstrated experience managing Service Level Agreements
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of over five (5) help desk technicians
  • Demonstrated experience operating an automated IT ticketing system
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various aspects and components of security infrastructure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of asset management, computer management systems, functions and operations demonstrated by prior work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in creating, managing, and reporting Project Tasks in MS Project Professional/MS Project Server.

Required Core Competencies:

  • Ability to lead a project including managing scope, schedule and risks.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment as demonstrated by prior work experience.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple projects at various stages of development using effective organization skills and attention to detail as demonstrated by prior work experience.
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative, is conscientious, and provides complete follow-through on all areas of responsibility.   

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • At least 7-years of experience
  • Certified ITIL Foundation or CCMMI-Services within 3 months
  • Certified as either:

o   Computing Technology Industry Association A+ Certification (CompTIA A+)

o   Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)

o   Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

Desired Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified  Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification.
